The VMG Group stands for sustainable living solutions and fully integrated production. In recent years, its subsidiary VMG Akmenės baldai has built a modern furniture factory on a greenfield site –covering everything from chipboard production to the packaged end product.
HOMAG supported the project with expertise, data, and customized solutions right from the planning phase. Machines, systems, and buildings were optimally coordinated to increase capacity, speed up processes, and maximize flexibility.
A particular milestone was the rapid installation and commissioning of the systems. Machine operators were involved at an early stage and received practical training.
The close cooperation goes far beyond the mere delivery of machines – it is a partnership that grows with the requirements.

Akmene is a Lithuanian plant belonging to the VMG Group, a company specialising in sustainable living solutions. From tree trunk to finished furniture, the entire production process is covered here to produce flat-pack furniture. HOMAG provided support in the factory planning from the very beginning and supplied crucial planning data.
