Building connections. WEINMANN Treff 2025
Once again, the WEINMANN Treff open house impressed those who visited the production halls at the St. Johann site. Under the tagline "Building connections," the event was devoted entirely to exchange and networking — with the common aim of creating living spaces.
Around 450 guests from 18 countries used the in-house trade fair in the Swabian Alps as an opportunity to find out about the latest trends in timber construction and take away new ideas. WEINMANN presented itself as a holistic partner: In addition to innovative machine technologies, the company offers a wide range of services that go far beyond production alone.
Despite the current tense situation in the timber construction industry, the in-house trade fair sent a strong signal: The industry is looking to the future with optimism. The large amount of visitor interest and the packed expert presentations showed just how important face-to-face conversations between carpenters, timber construction companies and partner companies are. The focus was on practical solutions such as semi-automatic batten and facade assembly and automated sealing tape application with the RAPICMASTER from WEINMANN and pro clima. The trend toward multi-story construction and the increased implementation of extensive projects by woodworking shops was also clear. These developments open up exciting opportunities — but they also bring with them new challenges that the industry must overcome together.
Creating living spaces together.
WEINMANN offers more than innovative technologies for efficient production: The company supports carpenters and timber construction companies throughout the entire process, from consultations and developing custom production concepts to ensuring that employees are suitably qualified and guiding the strategic orientation of the company. The experts from the WEINMANN Academy and SCHULER Consulting provided insights into their training and consulting offerings. The program was supplemented by an exhibition with 24 exhibitors, who presented solutions from the fields of software, insulation solutions, fastening devices, suction systems, tools and assembly, windows, doors and shutter systems, transport systems, packaging solutions, timber construction products and financing.
Ideas for the future of timber construction
During the event, visitors were able to take part in guided inspiration tours and see the WEINMANN solutions in action in the St. Johann beam processing center. They were given an authentic insight into workflows and processes under real production conditions.
A special highlight this year was the InnovationHub: At the in-house test cell, visitors to the trade fair got exciting insights into current development projects and were able to experience the first prototypes from the testing in person.
The end of the week was marked by the user meeting on 11/14/2025, at which around 40 machine operators came together in the WEINMANN Experience Center to discuss the latest technological developments with experts and industry colleagues at four stations.
WEINMANN is thrilled with the success of the event and would like to thank all visitors, exhibitors, speakers and partners for the trust they have placed in us.
