Whitney Brothers

Since 1904, Whitney Brothers has been manufacturing children's furniture for the teaching sector. Through an optimisation workshop with SCHULER Consulting, the producer has increased its efficiency and speeded up the processes in assembly and packaging.

"We have been working together with SCHULER since 2016 and have developed a deep trust and productive partnership based on very successful events. Early on, we worked on standardizing our product design and then re-aligned our machining to cope with a demand for smaller batch sizes. Schuler helped us to discover that our lack of design standards and construction methods was slowing down the factory. In the last workshop, we tackled our final assembly area. We were able to improve our assembly efficiency by an impressive 35% and our packing line efficiency by 47%. The results were outstanding and SCHULER made the project work a fun experience for our team.
