HOB Day 2023
Using the opportunities of digitalisation and automation in woodworking.
HOB Day 2023 is about full machine concepts in woodworking, but also about innovative manufacturing components, tools, software systems and sustainable machining strategies. Among other things, the question of how artificial intelligence and machine learning can be strategically used in woodworking for sustainable production will also be discussed.
On 21st of September, special attention will be paid to vertical integration, value stream optimization and increased efficiency through the interaction of machines, digital solutions and service.
The practical examples range from handicraft to industrial production of furniture, windows and doors as well as other elements made of the ecologically sustainable material wood. Practice-oriented research from the field of woodworking will also have its say.
Bastian Schulz (Team Leader Industry 4.0, SCHULER Consulting GmbH) will be among the speakers. He will give a talk on the topic: "Gain transparency, identify waste, optimally use resources with digital value stream optimization".
