As a Bachelor of Engineering (m/f) specializing in information technology at SCHULER, you will gain the skills necessary to apply scientific knowledge from the engineering disciplines within an IT context in the company. Your specialist skills encompass fundamental knowledge of information technology and engineering science.
The topics dealt with during the three to six-month practical placements spent in our company are coordinated with the subject matter previously taught at the University of Cooperative Education (DH). Experienced vocational training instructors accompany the trainees in the specialist fields. The focus is set on the active integration of DH students into everyday working life.
After successful completion of your course of study, you will be deployed in the field of Research & Development. Here, you will have the skills necessary to select, develop, adjust, introduce and also supervise information technology systems. In this way you will be contributing towards the development of user-friendly, easy-to-operate software with a high level of customer benefit.
Your enthusiasm for technical subjects using computers and your capacity for logical thinking are ideal starting conditions for this course of study.
